A HOPE THAT KEEPS US GOING

“It was the eve of March when suddenly a bell rang. As I opened the door, I found Leonardo da Vinci standing outside with a fabulous painting in his hand and he asked me, ‘Would you not let me in?’ I was shocked. He entered my room where books were lying all over in a messy form. With a smile on his face, he said, ‘I know you are confused and trying to swim in this vast ocean without knowing the direction you want to reach.’ Everyone is pulling your leg and considering you just a failure, but believe me, in my early years, they also never considered my dramatic and expressive artwork as a piece of work. But believe me, the human race always follows those who have success. The day you achieve what you dreamt of, they all will be there with you. Just don’t think about what they are saying; follow what your heart says. I am very sure one day your name will be recognized.’
Then he asked, ‘Will you not even offer me a cup of coffee?’ I went to the kitchen and prepared a strong one for both of us. But as I returned to the room, he was not there just  the painting he brought, and a note was left on the table. He had written:
‘Dear Vidhi,
You have a lot to achieve. Don’t stop because of others. Work harder to prove them wrong. I wish you all the best.’ And a small painting from my side to you ❤️.
The painting is of a girl with multiple colors coming out and there’s writing in beautiful script: “Build your own queendom.””

  1. Very creative! So true, success is subjective, caring about what anyone has to say is futile. Happiness is attained from within, following your heart and being the unique you only you can be❤
