Until You Reach Her

There will be days
when you question every step,
when the road feels endless
and every voice around you
makes you doubt your own

There will be nights
when you lie beneath your sheets
too tired to fight,
too lost to understand
where you are going

And girl,
it is okay.

Stay in bed for a day
Cry if you need to
Let your heart be heavy
Let yourself breathe

But when the second morning comes,
get up.

Not because the world will come
and pull you out of bed
It won’t.

People may tell you
“Take a break”
“Enjoy your life”
“You are missing out”

But very few will stand beside you
when you have to build
the life you once dreamed about.

So get up, Open those pages
Pick up your pen
Return to your work

Even if your hands are shaking
Even if your confidence is gone
Even if you don’t know
how much longer you can keep going.

Just don’t stop.

Because someday,
you will turn back the pages
of this exhausting chapter
and see every morning
you chose to rise

Every night you sacrificed
Every doubt you survived
Every time you whispered
“I can’t,”
and still continued.

And maybe people were right
maybe you enjoyed little  more.

But I have a feeling, girl
that when you finally reach
the place you once prayed for
you won’t regret the days you worked

You will look at yourself and smile.

Because you will know
that you stayed true
to the girl who had a dream

So rest when you must.
Fall when you have to.
Cry for a day, or two, or three.

But then wake up.

Because the hand
you have been waiting for may never come.

And perhaps
that is the lesson

You were never waitingfor someone to save you.

You were learning how to save yourself everyday

So get up, girl,The dream is still there.

And so are you.
